Intel Meteor Lake-S CPU Tool Surfaces for Desktop PC Chips

Although rumors have claimed otherwise, Intel’s 14th Generation Meteor Lake processors may debut in the desktop space after all. If the LGA1851 Meteor Lake-S interposer indicates anything, Intel appears to be testing a desktop variant of Meteor Lake. Maybe the tool serves other internal purposes, so we shouldn’t get our hopes up.

Intel Discontinues Several 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPUs

Intel has issued a product change notification (PCN) which discontinues various 11th Generation Tiger Lake mobile processors. The retirees include several SKUs from the Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Core i9, and Xeon W line-ups. Tiger Lake launched between 2020 and 2021, so they aren’t long in the tooth.

Intel Arrow Lake-S Support Added to Diagnostics Tool

Officially, Intel Arrow Lake is expected to be a tuned and optimized follow up to Meteor Lake on the Intel 4 process. Micron Unveils 24GB and 48GB DDR5 Memory Modules

Micron has introduced its new DDR5 memory modules featuring 24GB and 48GB capacity, reports News.Mynavi.jp (via @momomo_us). The modules are compatible with both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles for quickly setting them up and are designed for desktop PCs running AMD’s Ryzen 7000-series as well as Intel’s 12th and 13th Generations Core processors.
