Shortly after leaking several Tiger Lake promotional videos, Twitter user WalkingCat is making headlines again. This time, the leaker has shared two new videos where the 10nm SuperFin-powered Core i7-1185G7 goes up against AMD’s Ryzen 7 4800U in several scenarios.

As reported by Guru3D, Yuri “1usmus” Bubliy, the creator of DRAM Calculator for Ryzen, is cooking up a new piece of free software for AMD Ryzen owners. The ClockTuner for Ryzen (CTR) aims to extract extra performance out of your Zen 2 processor while decreasing its power consumption.

Alder Lake may be one of Intel’s most confusing microarchitectures to date. That’s if the latest coreboot patch (spotted via Twitter user La Frite David) is accurate. There’s a new DDR4 record in the books. As announced today by G.Skill and Asus, an overclocker known as Bianbao has set the new world record for fastest DDR4 RAM at DDR4-6666 (technically running at 6,665.4 MHz). To do so, the enthusiast used the new Intel Core i9-10900K processor, which has been overclocked to 7.7 GHz on all 10 CPU cores in another world record.

If you’re building a PC on a budget, it can be especially helpful to overclock your system in order to squeeze every bit of performance out of each dollar spent. In light of that, it’s probably nice to hear that the new budget-friendly AMD Ryzen 3 3100 CPU has been overclocked to 4.5 GHz on all four CPU cores at once.
